The Effect of ESG Activities on Members’ satisfaction of the Reconstruction Project: Focused on the mediating effect of economic feasibility of reconstruction

This paper attempted to examine the effect of ESG(Environment, Social, and Governance) activities on member satisfaction in reconstruction projects, and to examine the mediating effect of reconstruction economics in this impact relationship. At this time, ESG activities consisted of non-financial factors such as environment(E), society(S), and governance(G), reconstruction economics consisted of contributions and floor area ratios, and union satisfaction consisted of promotion process, management practice, and union promotion committee. Questionnaire data were collected for reconstruction members, and the collected data were analyzed using SPSS 27.0. A summary of the main analysis results is as follows. First, in the reconstruction project, environmental factors such as eco-friendliness, energy, green space, and waste all showed a positive (+) effect on member satisfaction, and social factors showed that jobs, social integration, and regional development had a positive (+) effect on member satisfaction, but welfare support for safe working environment and labor productivity improvement did not affect member satisfaction. In addition, while governance factors such as management strategy, ethical management, and fairness showed a positive (+) effect on member satisfaction, non-professional resident participation could have a negative effect.
