Subject. This article discusses the issues of State support for agro-industrial enterprises, and introduction of new technologies for the agricultural production. Objectives. The article aims to analyze the dependence of the agricultural economy's development on the major factors of innovation activity. Methods. For the study, I used the case, statistical, and abstract-logical research methods. Results. The article proposes certain methodological tools developed to assess the quantitative dependencies of agricultural production volumes on the residual value of fixed assets, volume of investments in fixed assets, and the volume of subsidies and grants in the industry. The livestock industry plays a decisive role in the innovative development of agriculture in the region. Conclusions. When developing State support measures for agriculture, it is necessary to take into account their impact on the factors and results of innovative activities.
