Plant motif has always been the primary creative way of painting and molding in ceramic artwork creation. The authors created four groups different types of plant motif ceramic artworks to explore new ways of expression and compare creative ways to obtain better visual art effects. The criteria evaluation are aesthetic (value, color, pattern, value, motif ), craft (strength, quality, technique, material), and innovation. Then, 18 ceramic experts quantitatively rated the ceramic artworks on ten criteria. The research found that ceramic artworks with emotion, artistic aesthetic, pure color, vital pattern decoration, creative handcraft, comprehensive material, and flower motifs are more likely to be praised. That verifies the validity of the author's expansion of the innovation of plant motifs. It also found an improvement in abstractness and individuation. Expert evaluation positively influences the creation, guiding the practical creation of plant motif ceramic artworks.
