Reaction of 4-Hydroxyspiropyrrole-2,3′-pyrrole and 4′-Hydroxyspiroimidazole-5,2′-pyrrole with N,N′-Dicyclohexylcarbodiimide

Substituted 4-hydroxyspiropyrrole-2,3′-pyrrole and 4′-hydroxyspiroimidazole-5,2′-pyrrole react­ed with N,N′-dicyclohexylcarbodiimide to give the correspondning 4(4′)-ureido derivatives. The products underwent nonselective thermal decomposition.
