In this paper, we introduce a method for generating optimal frequency hopping patterns with ideal autocorrelation and cross-correlation in an OFDM cellular mobile communication system. Our approach utilizes a two-dimensional cyclic shift and employs Welch Costas arrays for pattern design. The primary objective is to effectively eliminate interference from OFDM subcarriers, particularly those associated with multipath delay and Doppler shift in cellular mobile communication systems. Furthermore, we offer a structural diagram illustrating the practical application of these optimal frequency hopping patterns within the OFDM communication system.
