Studies show that anxiety and depression are widespread across patients presenting to outpatient services for medical illnesses. We expect similar or even higher prevalence in patients with breast complaints owing to the relevance of breasts in terms of sexuality, identity and confidence. Thus, this study was proposed to estimate the prevalence and identify risk factors for being at risk for anxiety and depression in patients seeking breast services.
