Appellation is an indispensable part of People's Daily communication, "appellation" is people according to relatives or other mutual relations and identity, occupation, etc. As a part of appellation, kinship appellation occupies an important position in the study of language and culture, and kinship appellation, as a basic vocabulary, has formed a strict system in each national language. It is relatively stable and reflects a nation's cultural tradition, life style, national psychology and other characteristics. Through the research and analysis of kinship terms in China and South Korea, this paper explores the similarities and differences between the two peoples' language and culture.
