The article, based on the analysis of research by domestic authors, emphasizes the importance of forming a culture of business communication among representatives of “people-to-people” professions, in particular, among future doctors in institutions of higher education; considered the culture of business communication as one of the indicators of the general culture and moral qualities of the individual, which integrates the external culture, the culture of speech, the culture of feelings, the culture of behavior and etiquette; it has been proven that the knowledge, skills and professional communication skills that are formed and developed in the process of studying at an institution of higher medical education are especially important for a future doctor; the main psychological components of communication are given (a sense of presence, showing concern for another person, respect for the worldview and point of view of another person, empathy, sincerity as a prerequisite for free and open communication, respect); the decisive role of the pedagogical skill of teachers in the formation of the culture of business communication of future doctors in institutions of higher education is assigned.
