Gabapentin is an antiepileptic drug that is used and approved for the treatment of seizures as well as for the treatment neuropathic pain.It is also used off label to treat other medical and psychiatric conditions. It is generally a well-tolerated medication with minimal and rarely occurring side effects.Gabapentin has low potential for misuse and patients taking it rarely experience withdrawal symptoms. In this case report, we present an unusual case of a female patient who experienced severe withdrawal symptoms following the discontinuation of a low dose of Gabapentin that had been taken for a short time.
