College computer courses play a vital role in cultivating the professional ability and quality of new engineering students. It is indispensable to train new engineering talents with craftsman spirit for curriculum ideological and political construction. This paper explores the connotation and significance of thinking and politics in the course of computer major, takes “product prototype design” as an example, deeply excavates the elements of thinking and politics contained in the course content, explores the diversified model of adding blood, and aims to improve students’ computer professional ability and scientific literacy, so as to achieve the effect of education.
