The Comparative Study on Road Redevelopment Project by Using Three-Dimensional Urban Planning Methods : Focused on LU1 City and Ohashi 1-Chome Modification Plan

Purpose: In 2006, Incheon LU1 urban development project had implemented with a lot of public attention for its intension of solving a traffic congestion of the region. However, global financial crisis raised problem of stagnation of real estate market and the implementation of the project went sour. Local residents are still suffering from postponed compensation payment. However, the Ohashi Itchome district project in Japan was completed early by introducing a road cooperative redevelopment system to respond to increasing land expropriation costs and shorten the project period. The purpose of this study is to smoothly expand domestic urban infrastructure by inducing the activation of three-dimensional urban planning through case studies.
