Within this editorial, the three co-editors explore their connection to this issue through global, personal and identity-based perspectives. The editors introduce their connection to and passion for disability justice, while acknowledging the challenges surrounding creating this issue during multiple mass disabling events. Editors also introduce the pieces found within the journal with a brief synopsis of each, exploring their connection to disability justice within the field of drama therapy and the larger structures of oppression that define and determine how we approach disability and debility justice within mental health systems.
