Due to their many benefits, power electronic converters, particularly DC/AC inverters, are finding more and more uses in business. Many methods followed till now include PWM technique for switching inverters. They have a low harmonic content and stair-case voltage waveform that comes from many dc sources. In this paper, there is a better understanding of the five Cascaded H-Bridge levels using Arduino-based multilevel inverter architecture and the same has been simulated. An Arduino Atmega328 will be used to help produce the PWM pulse. The output voltage is the result of adding the voltages produced by each bridge. One possible solution to lower the total harmonic distortion is to choose switching angles carefully. MOSFETs are used for switching in the suggested system. The simulation of five level cascaded H bridge multilevel converter is done using MATLAB/ Simulink software. Through modeling and hardware implementation, a single phase five-level cascaded H-bridge multilevel inverter with separate DC sources is constructed and the results are compared. The outcomes agree with each other.
