The culture of traditional musical instrument performances has gradually declined over time. Despite the government's active efforts to preserve intangible culture, the changing contemporary music performance forms have necessitated adaptation for traditional instruments such as Yueqing, commonly utilized in traditional performances. This study focuses on the transformation of the Yueqing into an electric instrument using pressure sensors and MIDI technology, catering to the diverse tuning requirements of modern music performances. The introduction of this electronic Yueqing holds the potential to enhance cultural heritage preservation by providing increased performance opportunities.
