Implementation of the Application of Information Technology in Improving the Efficiency and Effectiveness of Financial Management in the Sidoarjo Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency

The aim of this research is to provide an overview of the Implementation of Information Technology in enhancing the Efficiency and Effectiveness of Financial Management. This research was conducted at the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency of Sidoarjo using 3 Informants initialized as TW, NS, IA. The researcher employed a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Primary data sources were utilized in this research through data collection techniques including interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings of this research indicate that the implementation of SIKSDA Information Technology at BPKAD Sidoarjo has significantly improved financial management by simplifying and expediting processes while reducing the risk of fraud. The efficiency of financial management is evidenced by the connection of SIKSDA to Bank Jatim, the paperless application, and the integration utilizing Electronic Signatures.
