A Contribution to the Flora of Mirzapur-I some New Records for the District and for the Upper Gangetic Plain

Buettneria herbacea Roxb. (Sterculiaceae), Crotalaria ramosissima Roxb. (Leguminosae), Hardwickia binata Roxb. (Leguminosae), Plectranthus mollis (Ait.) Spreng. (Labiatae), Leucas clarkei Hook. f. (Labiatae), Cyanotis fasciculata Schult.f. (Commelinaceae), and Eriocaulon setaceum Linn. (Eriocaulaceae) are described here as new records for the Upper Gangetic Plain. Rauvolfia tetraphylla Linn. (Apocynaceae) and Plantago pumila Willd. (Plantaginaceae) are also recorded for the first time from Mirzapur District.
