This paper focuses on a secure wireless multicas-ting under the employment of generalized receiver along with maximal ratio combining (MRC) diversity technique. MRC diversity technique mitigate the fading effect significantly and the generalized receiver is flexible to adaptive signal processing. In this paper, the transmitted signal has been protected from eavesdropping considering the effect of receive side antenna number, eavesdropper side antenna number, multicast user number and eavesdropper number. In this manner the authors derived the closed form analytical expression for the probability of non-zero secrecy capacity of multicast system (PNSMC) and for the secure outage probability of multicast system (SOPM) to ensure the secrecy in the presence of multiple eavesdroppers. These mathematical models are helpful to realize the insight of the effects of aforementioned parameters. The numerical results show that, security in multicast network employing generalized receiver with MRC diversity technique is significantly affected by the number of receive antenna, eavesdropper antenna, multicast user and eavesdropper, specially at low noise power region of eavesdropper.
