Review of the Textbook “Penal Law of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Azerbaijan. The General Part” Edited by A. P. Skiba and M. G. Gumbatov

The reviewer, through a comparative analysis of the theory, legislation and practice of the execution of punishments and other criminal law measures in the Russian Federation and the Republic of Azerbaijan, formulates the most significant issues disclosed in the textbook, as well as its likely shortcomings (it is advisable to consider in more detail the theory, legal basis and practice of applying specific means of correction of convicts, etc.). The conclusion is that the textbook is of crucial importance for the development of penal enforcement and other law.
