Reasoning by gesture according to Imam Al-Shawkani through his book Guiding Stallions to Achieving the Truth from the Science of Fundamentals and applied models through his interpretation of Fath Al-Qadeer

This research addresses the reasoning by gesturing, which is one of the paths of the prescribed cause, according to Imam Al-Shawkani through his book, Guiding Stallions to Realizing the Truth from the Science of Principles, and applied models in light of his interpretation of Fath Al-Qadeer. This research aims to explain the following: First: Proving the immortality of Islamic law, its flexibility, and its suitability to find appropriate solutions and appropriate rulings for all actions and events that occur among individuals or as a whole of the nation, whether prior or subsequent; Because reasoning through gesture is one of the paths of reasoning that is the foundation of analogy and through which new developments are confronted, and it constitutes the motor nerve that gives Islamic legislation its superior flexibility. Second: Shedding light on reasoning in general, and on reasoning through gesture in particular, which is the pulsating artery. Because it provides legislation with vitality and pushes it to keep pace with developments, by attaching like to like and like to like. Third: Shedding light on the importance of the interpretation of Fath al-Qadeer, in which he collected all the strange and wondrous things, and followed a unique path, as it contained within its various sciences, such as language, grammar, rhetoric, logic, speech, jurisprudence, and principles.
