VOSviewer, CiteSpace and CNKI-related tools were utilized for scientometric analysis on development trend of audiovisual translation (AVT) studies based on the database collected in China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) from 2019 to 2023, and visual knowledge graph was drawn. The knowledge graph shows that: in the past five years, 1)Communication University of China has paid relatively high attention to audiovisual translation research; 2)The number of published papers fluctuates, but, in general, the volume is increasing; 3)The overall structure of author's cooperation map is loose and cooperation network is not closely related; 4)Audiovisual translation research is gradually turning to the directions of interdisciplinary, multi-modal, national culture and Media accessibility. 5)Most research methods of AVT studies are mainly descriptive research method and literature research method.
