The Internet of Things (IoT) plays an increasingly crucial role in the contemporary world. It comprises an inter-connected network of physical devices that integrate sensors, software, and communication technologies, facilitating the exchange of data and interaction with the environment. However, despite its numerous advantages, IoT also presents challenges, particularly in terms of security. Indeed, the limitations of IoT devices constitute another major challenge. Some of these devices have limited resources, making the implementation of advanced security measures more complicated. To ensure the security and reliability of IoT, it is essential to establish robust security protocols. This paper addresses these issues by proposing an authentication protocol based on blockchain technology. The main objective is to ensure reliable authentication between different devices. To analyze the security of our approach, we use AVISPA, and to evaluate the performance, we use the NS3 simulator. The results of our experiments and security analyses confirm the security and efficiency of our protocol.
