The article represents the activities of the Freiburg University Library. The basis of cooperation within the consortium was analyzed. It is noted that the university library is the central liaison office of the Baden-Württemberg Consortium. It is found that the established network connections of the library make it possible to provide high-quality support for scientific research and a high level of use of information resources. It is emphasized that the experience of the library in the field of regional, national and international cooperation is useful for adoption in the system of cooperation of libraries of Ukraine. It is noted that the creation of a separate body that adjusts the processes of cooperation with other institutions contributes to the further development of cooperation conditions.
