The article is devoted to the criminalistic features of the investigation against medical workers who made mistakes in their work, which entailed consequences in the form of harm to life and health. When writing the article, the works of A.A. Bimbinov, T.S. Volchetskaya, E.S. Mazur, A.A. Lavrinenko, N.A. Podolsky and others were studied. The scientific novelty of this article lies in the formulation of such problems as the lack of clinical recommendations/procedures for providing medical care as sources of information about the proper course of professional duties, as well as the use of drugs in the 0ff-label mode; the expediency of using a specialist's opinion on these issues as evidence is substantiated. During the collection of the material, 20 respondents were interviewed — medical workers in the field of gynecology and obstetrics.
