The article considers the terminological apparatus of the concepts of ‘economic security’, ‘migration’, presents a list of the main documents of the legal framework governing migration processes, as well as processes related to ensuring economic security. Based on the study, the author concluded that there is an interdependence between migration and economic security, formulated a number of problems that affect the assessment of migration processes and the economic security of the state.
