This study aims to determine the influence of Active Learning Methods and Parental Guidance on Student Learning Interest, with the hypothesis that there is a positive and significant influence between Active Learning Methods and Parental Guidance on Student Learning Interest. The method used in this research is quantitative research with inferential statistics. The research population is all high school students in the Parmonangan District in the Academic Year 2024/2025, with a total of 373 students, and a sample of 94 students is determined, which is 25% of the population. The research instrument is a closed questionnaire, compiled by the researcher based on the indicators of the research variables. Questionnaire testing was conducted on 30 students outside the research sample and has been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis technique with multiple linear regression test. The results show that: 1) There is a positive influence of Active Learning Methods on Student Learning Interest obtained from the value of t-test = 5.787 > t-table (df = n-2 = 94-2 = 92) = 1.980 with a magnitude of influence of 26.7% and there is a significant influence obtained from Ŷ = 31.648 + 0.422X1. 2) There is a positive influence of Parental Guidance on Student Learning Interest obtained from the value of t-test = 5.719 > t-table (df = n-2 = 94-2 = 92) = 1.980 with a magnitude of influence of 24.8% and there is a significant influence obtained from Ŷ = 35.795 + 0.436X2. 3) There is a positive influence of Active Learning Methods and Parental Guidance on Student Learning Interest with F-test = 24.856 > F-table (k;n-2) (2; 92) = 3.07 by 34.1 and there is a significant influence obtained from Ŷ = 25.790 + 0.284X1 + 0.288X2. Thus, Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, meaning that there is a positive and significant influence of active learning methods and parental guidance on high school students' learning interest in the Parmonangan District, North Tapanuli Regency.
