The article discusses the importance of social skills and the role of the mother in their formation. Social skills refer to a person's ability to interact with other people. Communication includes skills such as empathy, cooperation, problem solving, personal adaptation, and behavior in accordance with social norms. These skills begin to form especially deeply at the age of 3 and play an important role in a child's life. The influence of the mother on the formation of social skills in children is multifaceted, among them there are three important factors: secure attachment, communication and behavior modeling. Secure attachment complements emotional trust and a sense of independence. Communicating with a child develops the child's language culture and strengthens emotional connection. On the third hand, maternal behavior allows you to shape the personality and social skills of a child. This interaction develops the child's social skills and affects his future success and quality of life.
