This paper presents the design and implementation of an IoT-based electricity consumption monitoring system using the Blynk application. The system employs key electronic components such as NodeMCU ESP32, SCT-013 current sensor, and ZMPT101B voltage sensor to measure and transmit energy consumption data wirelessly. The performance of the monitoring system was evaluated through experiments, which demonstrated its ability to differentiate between unloaded and loaded conditions. The average energy consumption increased by 0.1091 kWh when a soldering iron was connected as a load. However, further calibration and testing are recommended to improve the accuracy and reliability of the system. The proposed IoT-based monitoring system has the potential to enhance energy efficiency and conservation efforts in various settings.
