With the deepening of energy and power transformation, the field of renewable energy is booming, among which the offshore wind power has gradually become an important direction of new energy development because of its advantages of high energy efficiency and suitable for centralized development. With the continuous expansion of the development scale of offshore wind farms and their gradual expansion to the far-reaching sea, offshore wind power faces the influence of factors such as changing operating environment and increasing construction difficulty, which also promotes the acceleration of the application and development of new technologies, among which HVDC has become one of the future development directions of large-scale offshore wind farm power transmission. In order to further improve the reliability and economy of offshore wind farms, this paper compares the AC and DC aggregation modes of offshore wind power cluster under DC transmission conditions, and analyzes the characteristics and advantages and disadvantages of two converging modes in terms of economy and energy loss.
