The inclined anchored short pile foundation is a new type of transmission line foundation which is composed of short piles and several anchors around the pile. It can fully utilize the load bearing performance and stress characteristics of rocks. So there are low requirements of rocks' integrity and quality level. It is suitable for mechanized construction, and effectively reduces construction safety risks and environmental damage, therefore it can be widely used in various rock geology in mountainous areas. In this paper, a finite element model of it is established to analysis the key pile-rod connection in two different types. Compared to its indoor test results, the connection's tensile characteristics and failure mode are obtained. The analysis provides a reference for the design and construction of the connection areas.
