This brief discusses modulation techniques for harmonic deformation and amplification of output side voltage in multilevel inverters. The operation of cascaded H-Bridge converters through simulation with the help of level shift PWM, can be divided into 3 different parts that are PD, POD and APOD. These are used for single-phase phase 5-level cascaded multilevel inverter. Multilevel inverters represent power-electronics utilization of uninterruptible power supplies as well as active power filters. Variable Frequency PWM methods have been applied in a cascaded H-bridge multilevel converter in DC microgrid. This technique is being used for multilevel inverters in DC microgrid to evaluate the performance parameter and it is being used to link through various forms of carrier-based PWM procedures such as POD, PD, APOD, PSC and TTMC PWM techniques. The necessary elements of output voltage as well as THD will be considered as a complete breakdown of the result that has been derived and studied. The simulation has been achieved for a cascaded multilevel inverter with the help of MATLAB/Simulink.
