The huge learning problems that children confront in elementary school are a concern that many students face. As a result, the goal of this research is to identify and understand students challenges in solving numeracy problems using fast calculation approaches. To achieve this goal, this study takes a case study approach and adopts a qualitative descrptive research method. data for this study were acquired through observation and interviews. The data analysis methodologies used in this study include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing concluusions. Students challenges in working on numeration problems experienced by student in class V at SDN 4 Baturetno Included pupils having trouble grasping numeracy concepts such as difficulty identifying cube roots and cubes, according to the research findings. Difficulty connecting mathematical concepts with existing statements, and difficulty connecting mathematical concepts with existing statements, difficulty because I am not yet fluent.
