The commentary «al-Kashshaf» Zamakhshari in connection with its uniqueness and special style of commenting on the Quran has always been considered one of the most important sources - the commentary especially impressed Shiite commentators in connection with its closeness to the Shiite and Mu'tazili faiths and had a huge influence on him. The purpose of the study is to study the literary and artistic aspects of the commentary “al-Kashshaf” by Zamakhshari, to determine the role of this work in the development of Persian-Arab Muslim exegesis. The main objectives of the study include the study of the sources, structure and content of the commentary “al-Kashshaf” by Zamakhshari, the study of codicology, translations and interpretation of the commentary “al-Kashshaf”, analysis of the role and influence of the commentary “al-Kashshaf” on the development of Persian-Tajik and Arabic exegesis . The article uses a descriptive method, comparative historical and statistical methods. In most cases, the analytical research method is used. Zamakhshari skillfully using his talent and skill in commenting on the verses, he began to comment on their poetic perfection and style. His rationalism led to the fact that the commentary of the Quran was carried out on the basis of rationalistic beliefs, where a more conscious attitude to the interpretation of issues of eloquence and presentation of the Quranic verses, and later in the commentary «al-Kashshaf», when interpreting the verses containing metaphors and comparisons, Zamakhshari reasonably relied on on the rationalistic beliefs of Giurjani.
