This study explores renewable energy sustainability within Indonesian electric power companies, examining the shift toward renewable sources.Applying a strategic management lens, the research investigates relationships between strategic organizational change management, clean corporate governance, transformational leadership and business performance, mediated by the state-owned enterprise's AKHLAK ethical values (Adaptive, Collaborative, Competent, Harmonious, Loyal, Trustworthy).The conceptual model is tested quantitatively using structural equation modeling of survey data from PT PLN Nusantara Power.While direct performance effects proved non-significant, AKHLAK values significantly mediated these connections.Findings emphasize AKHLAK's pivotal role in enabling strategic management to positively influence renewable energy outcomes.This offers timely insights for Indonesian firms on leveraging ethics and strategy in their sustainability transition.
