A new analysis examining long‐acting injectable treatment versus an oral antipsychotic has found a significant reduction in relapse in patients with schizophrenia who used the injectable treatment, regardless of the duration of their illness. The research findings are important to build evidence‐based recommendations for clinical care, researchers stated.
