The study examines teachers' perceptions about digital storytelling (DST) and why they are reluctant to use it as an instructional tool, despite its effectiveness for student learning. Additionally, it answers the question: What are the effective pedagogical practices for implementing digital storytelling by kindergarten teachers? Twelve participants were interviewed to explain the results of a questionnaire completed by 42 participants. The mixed method data analysis identified effective pedagogical practices that impact children's skills and responsibilities, as well as the engagement of minority children. This research is expected to provide valuable insights for educational practice.
