In this paper, we study the asymptotic stability of Penrose-stable equilibria among solutions of the screened Vlasov-Poisson system in Rᵈ with d 3, which was first established by Bedrossian, Masmoudi, and Mouhot in 8, with smooth initial data. In 21 Han-Kwan, Nguyen, and Rousset studied similar results as in 8 via precise pointwise in time estimates for the linearized problem with Lipschitz initial data. We got precise pointwise space-time estimates for the linearized problem and obtained a logarithm improvement over the results in 21, with an extra Hölder regularity on the initial data. Our approach is also applicable to the massless electrons/ions case.
