The results of the analysis and generalization of methodical approaches to determining the technical and technological level of the enterprise are presented. The factors of formation of the technical and technological level of the enterprise from the point of view of the choice of directions of its innovative development are substantiated. It is emphasized that the technical and technological level of the enterprise depends not only on the state and level of use of technical resources. Technology is considered as a method of combining all types of resources, and finished products as a material result of any technological transformations are ready with predetermined quantitative and qualitative characteristics, the implementation of which will allow the enterprise to make a profit. It is proposed to evaluate the technical and technological level of production according to the following groups of indicators: technical resources: technical condition of the equipment, level of use of the equipment; material resources: the level of use of raw materials and materials; labor resources: the level of mechanization and automation of production, the level of use of labor resources; technology: the level of progressiveness of technology, man-made load on the environment; product. It is emphasized that each of the selected indicators of the assessment of the technical and technological level of production has its own desired direction of change. In order to eliminate the possible opposite direction in the calculations, it is proposed to use inverse indicators. Each of the selected indicators is relative in nature. At the same time, both the planned level of the indicator and its desired level, taking into account changes in the innovative policy of the enterprise, can be used as a base in the calculations. Proposals for improving the integrated assessment of the technical and technological level of production have been developed. A method of integral assessment of the technical and technological level of production is proposed, the implementation of which is carried out in the following stages: assessment of the level of technical resources, assessment of the level of material resources, assessment of the level of labor resources, assessment of the level of technology, assessment of products, determination of the integral indicator of the technical and technological level of production.
