This study explores the use of augmented reality (AR) as a paradigm-shifting tool for interactive history instruction in a time when technological advancement and educational paradigms are both accelerating. Students can visually travel across historical eras and events through augmented reality, providing a novel technique to fully engage them in learning. The development and evaluation of an augmented reality (AR) learning platform designed to take students on a fascinating historical journey are the subjects of this study. Through the use of augmented reality, historical narratives, and interactive information, students may engage with and get an unmatched understanding of the lives of historical figures. They can also go to significant locations and witness significant historical occurrences. The study also considers the potential advantages and disadvantages of using augmented reality technology in history education, taking into account factors like accessibility, teacher preparedness, and the effectiveness of the learning environment. The study of the past can be revitalized by interactive learning, which fosters a greater understanding of historical occurrences and their continuing importance. This is accomplished by combining the dynamic features of augmented reality with the rich tapestry of history. The study's conclusions shed light on pedagogical and technological innovations that have the potential to revolutionize the study of history by fostering engaging and interactive learning experiences and by creating strong connections between students and historical documents. The augmented reality-based application show's that immersive learning possibilities significantly boost students' engagement and recall of historical material. The application's interactive component will help students understand historical events and items in a more meaningful way and strengthens their connection to the subject matter. This method will encourage active learning and takes into account different learning styles to make history training more approachable and engaging for a range of student demographics. Since augmented reality (AR) technology has the potential to totally disrupt traditional teaching methodologies and enhance learning through personalization, engagement, and efficiency, there are therefore substantial repercussions for history education.
