Evaluation of the Biomedical Activity for Some Non-Pathogenic Microbial Isolates Against Cancer.

Healthy samples of selected medicinal plants, Garlic, Onion, Bambozia, Olive, black berry and black grapes were collected from farms then brought back immediately to the laboratory to be processed for fungal isolation. Microscopic examination and Morphological identification was done . A total of seven genera, 12 species of endophytic fungi were isolated from the collected plants (Fig. 1). The highest rate was found in Aspergillus flavus and Aspergillus.niger ( 17 and 9 isolates respectively) .Fungal 2ry metabolite were prepared via culturing on potato dextrose and Sabouraud dextrose broth media .2ry metabolites of the prevalent isolates including A.flavus and A.niger and a mixture of both of them (A.flavus – A.niger mixture) were tested against Breast cancer cell line (MCF-7 )using the MTT assay.The result of MTT assay after the administration of fungal extracts showed that the both extracts of A. flavus- A.niger has killing effect over the tested cell lines. Maximum cytotoxicity was observed in Breast cancer cell line (MCF-7 ) treated with fungal extract over (37%) at 48 hrs. incubation with A. flavus- A.niger mixture extracts . The moderate cytotoxic responses were noted in the crude fungal extract of A. flavus and A.niger extracts separately (21% and 17%) respectively.The morphological changes of cell treated with tested fungal extract was also examined.
