The legal regulation of urban development in Russia continues to develop actively, introducing new legal mechanisms and improving existing ones, which requires scientific analysis and evaluation. This scientific study examines current trends in the development of federal legislation in terms of territorial planning and urban zoning, and provides a legal assessment of the changes taking place. Special attention is paid to the delimitation of powers and the role of federal executive authorities in regulating territorial planning and urban zoning.
