Stellar occultations are influential for determining shapes, sizes, and rotation states, as well as characterizing the binary population, ring systems,and debris. Additionally, occultations are a source of high-precision astrometry.I will present a new project to implement a network of telescopes dedicated to observing stellar occultations by Solar System objects, including trans-Neptunian objects and asteroids. Given the fast cadence and absolute timing capabilities, the telescopes will also be used to monitor lunar impact flashes provoked by impacts of meteoroids onthe surface of the Moon.A three-year initial phase has been funded and right on time to leverage the Gaia astrometric catalog andthe Legacy Survey of Space and Time (LSST) on what can be qualified as the golden age of occultationstudies.
