The article reviews some organizational, legal and methodological aspects of performance of forensic activities in the Republic of Moldova. The described matters give an opportunity to obtain an idea about regulatory and technical requirements for carrying out forensic examination as the most in-demand form of using special knowledge in solution and investigation of crimes. The authors note some material diff erences from Russian analogues.
