Tamil Nadu ranking 4th important state for producing banana. Conventional farming is one of the major issues leads to lesser productivity due to lack of available package of practices and high yielding varieties. To replace this difficulties, Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Madurai conducted Front Line Demonstrations (FLDs') in the farmer's field. The FLDs' was done in the farmers fields of Kottaipatti village, Kottampatti Block and Melanedungulam village, Thriupanangundrum Block and were provided with all the inputs with improved package of practices. The foliar nutrient spray of Banana Sakthi @ 2% on 4th, 5th and 6th month's interval from the date of planting. The higher yield in demonstration field (160 t ha-1) was noticed than that of receiving farmer's practices (145 t ha-1). The average percent of increase over farmers practice through this demonstration was recorded to be 10.3 during 2019-20 and 12.5 during 2020-21. The average BC ratio was recorded in the demonstration was more than the farmers practice i.e. 1.36 percent during 2019-20 and 2.50 during 2020-21. The sustainable area increased as well as sustainable yield was recorded during 2020-21 and 2021-22. The B: C wass also significantly higher i.e. 2.5 during 2020-21 and 2.8 during 2021-22 at Kottaipatti village. The same trend was attained i.e. 1.8 during 2020-21 and 2.6 during 2021-22 at Melanedungulam village. The farmers were experienced the technologies and very well adopted in the field and attained the socio economic benefits.
