The article deliberates on the basics of the legal status of the Supreme Judicial Council and Judicial Authorities and Bodies of the Arab Republic of Egypt, the essential judicial authority of the country which primary task is to guarantee independence of the judicial power. The author reviews the fundamentals of state structure of Egypt, with a special focus on the structure of the judicial system of the country, makes a retrospective journey into the history of formation and evolution of the bodies of the judicial community. Special attention is also given to the procedure of formation and main powers of the Supreme Judicial Council and Judicial Authorities and Bodies.
