Conventional models without media has made the situation of learning less attractive, the causes was the development of children's mindset according to the times and technological progress in the form of innovative products that should be used in learning. The importance of the presence of the media in learning dance art, is the background of this research to developed interactive multimedia-based media on local traditional dance material (Pinggan dance). Researchers modified the Borg and Gall development research procedure, because it was seen from adjusting the time and place of research. Modifications carried out by the researcher are gathering information, preparing initial products, evaluating experts, large group trials, product revisions, small group trials, revisions and final products. Research subjects were art teachers and class X students of SMAN 3 Pontianak, as well as 3 experts. Based on expert review data and field trials there are several revisions to the product including script revision, shooting techniques, and multimedia display. The final product of this development is interactive multimedia in Adobe Flash format, which contains material regarding dance movement tutorials, dance make-up and clothing, accompanying music, dance props, and stage of Pinggan dance.
