With the advancement of educational reform, English teaching in universities has also ushered in new opportunities for reform. In this context, how to more effectively cultivate students’ English literacy and comprehensive abilities has become one of the teaching difficulties that troubles college English teachers. In this regard, university teachers can use a blended online and offline teaching model in English classes to stimulate students’ interest, mobilize their enthusiasm and initiative, and thereby improve the effectiveness of classroom teaching.
