To determine the impact of different types of organic fertilizer systems on the yield and quality of soybean seeds in a short-rotation crop rotation. Methods. Research is conducted at the Panfil Research Station of the National Scientific Center «Institute of Agriculture of NAAS» in a stationary experiment established in 2021 on typical low-humus chernozem. Results. According to the research results, soybean cultivation in a short-term organic crop rotation: soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merrill) – spring wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) – common millet (Panicum miliaceum L.) with using different types of biological fertilizer was quite effective. Thus, the yield of soybean seeds, depending on the organic fertilization system, was in the range of 1.28–1.68 t/ha, with a protein and fat content of 39.50–41.55 and 18.67–21.25 %, respectively. Conclusions. The maximum conditional net profit of 5.48 thousand UAH/ha with a profitability level of 144 % was provided by the integrated use of by-products of the predecessor, green manure and «Bio-Hel» biofertilizer, at a dose of 3.0 l/ha. Thus, in the conditions of the Left-Bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine, soybeans are most rationally grown in a short-term organic crop rotation: soybeans – spring wheat – common millet with complex application of organic fertilizers.
