The major objectives of this survey are to create a coherent perspective of the applicability of classical entropies and to provide a concise detailed explanation that blends technical pertinence with conceptual extraction from the most recent literature. What's more intriguing are the closing thoughts mixed with a few unsolved issues and the creation of a future work schedule in these areas.
