The article discusses the key features of the land management process in the agro-industrial complex of the Russian Federation. The most important sources of features are identified, the structure of land relations, the specifics of the activities of economic entities in the field of agriculture, as well as the legal regulation of land relations, the role of technological innovation, geological and geographical features of the territory, and economic aspects are analyzed. The basic directions of the strategic initiative for the digitalization of agriculture are highlighted. The role of agrotechnoparks in the conditions of digital transformation of the land management process is determined. The priorities for resource support for land management activities in the agro-industrial complex are determined, taking into account modern technological conditions and the innovative activity of the scientific environment.
