This article analyzes modern approaches to solving the problems of technical and tactical training of young football players. The effectiveness of the educational and training process is often associated with the use of adequate steps in the organization and conduct of educational and training sessions taking into account the age characteristics of young football players. In the course of the study, much attention was paid to the issues of combining such parameters as the size of the football field for games, the age of young football players, the quantitative composition of football players during the game, the tactical location of players on the football field and their functions. Taking into account the mentioned parameters in the process of technical and tactical training of young football players creates the necessary prerequisites for the harmonious development of the player in various aspects of his individual preparation and contributes to the education of qualified football players of various playing roles. The most characteristic feature of the development of modern football, in particular youth football, is the increase in the intensity of the game, in which individual, group, team technical and tactical skill and high physical fitness of the players are manifested. In order to win, teams must have players who know how to play "quickly" and make decisions in difficult situations that are constantly changing in conditions of scarcity of space and time, as well as who rationally possess technique in combination with tactical actions and high speed of movement.
